Amazing Family break away of all ages Stayed here for 2 nights after a wedding at Lympstone Manor. Age ranges from 17 to 82 and it catered for everyone within that age bracket and would cater much younger and older. 4 couples had the upstairs - 3 doubles and 1 twin all ensuite and Nan had downstairs double en suite. Kitchen had everything we needed to feed everyone and the huge square table in the dining room was perfect when eating. We would definately return to explore the area Tahnks Geoff for the warm welcome and arrival gifts

Really lovely place to get away from it all. Excellent host! Perfect for families and pets. And within easy reach of either the coast or the moors. Had a great time, and nothing too much hassle for the host.

Wonderful place We have just returned from a few days here. We were granny, grandad, mum and dad and a six and a three year old. We all had a wonderful time. The house was lovely, it had everything you could wish for. A superbly equipped kitchen. We arrived to a home baked loaf and cake and home produced eggs, bacon and sausage which were all delicious. The kids loved collecting eggs and feeding the animals and Geoff, the owner was so patient with them and gave them a lot of confidence. We even reserved our Christmas turkey. We can’t wait to return,

A home from home and some! We have just returned from a family pre-Christmas weekend at Dunley Farmhouse which was just perfect for us. Our family included a 91 year old and a 3 year old and the farmhouse allowed us all the space and facilities we needed to enjoy our time together. Geoff and Rebecca were fantastic hosts and made sure all our needs were provided for. The welcome pack was brilliant especially the duck eggs! Geoff took us around the farm on two mornings and the highlight of the weekend for our 3 year old granddaughter was collecting the duck eggs with him. Can't recommend this rental enough and we are already thinking of returning with the family on another occasion . Thank Geoff for a lovely start to our Christmas

Fab comfy farmhouse stay We had a very comfortable and cosy stay at the farmhouse (only 2 of us this time but back in December with 4-5 and our dog). Geoff left us a delicious welcome pack of homemade bread and cake, lovely sausages and bacon too plus their own duck eggs, so we had a fab cooked breakfast every day and cake after our wet autumn walks on Dartmoor. Thank you for the farmhouse foody welcome pack, really appreciated. It was a very peaceful spot. Lovely to have dark quiet rooms at night for a good nights sleep. We had the front twin bed made up as double as we are used to that sized super king bed for comfort at home rather than the other King size beds. Bedding was lovely and soft and clean and bed was comfy. Showers were powerful. Sitting area had comfortable plentiful seating and we loved the log burner with plenty of logs supplied. There’s a large dining area with lovely oak table. Cosy farmhouse kitchen. Would like a few more pans and frying pan that work on the induction hob, as frying ones only worked on the electric range style cooker. The only photos we took were of geese out the front by the parking area and local walk on Dartmoor. This is a great base for family to visit Devon and Dartmoor. Plenty of space for a big group or family and comfortable. We are returning. Thanks and see you again.

Dunley Farmhouse Family Fun Weekend My family and l have spent a long weekend at Dunley Farmhouse. The house was absolutely perfect. In total we were a family of 11 plus Letty the dog. Geoff made us very welcome and feeding the animals in the morning was a lovely experience for us all. On arrival it was so nice to find a wonderful welcome pack of sausages, bacon, duch eggs, home baked bread and a beautifully baked cake. One of our days was so wet we remained indoors all day. We had the TV on, log burner, lots of games to play. Perfect. The Farmhouse was more than up to the task of entertaining us all. Thankyou so much for all your hard work to enable us to have such a wonderful weekend. The Ackermans and The Langdons

Dunley Farmhouse My family and i have just spent a week at Dunley Farmhouse and it was absolutely fantastic. In total there were 7 adults and six children and we had room to spare. A very comfortable home for the week and every amenity was catered for. Beds were extremely comfortable and all had en suite bathrooms and toilets. I cannot rate this place highly enough. Whilst Devon has a lot of interesting places to visit and beaches in abundance, the highlight for us was accompanying the owner (Geoff) every morning to feed the animals. We all enjoyed the mornings immensely.Geoff and his wife could not have made us feel more welcome and the Grandchildren will never forget this experience or Geoff. Thankyou for a wonderful holiday and we will definitely be coming back next year.

Wonderful place to relax in comfort and enjoy the countryside! We spent a wonderful week at Dunley Farmhouse. The house itself was charming, beautifully presented and hosted wonderfully by Geoff and his wife. We were a large family group; 6 adults with our 3 year old twin grandchildren and the space in the farmhouse both inside and outside were exactly what we needed. All the rooms were well presented and all with ensuite was an absolutely winner! Arrival was perfect with a thoughtful arrival pack of fresh duck eggs, home produced bacon and sausages, freshly baked bread and a wonderful cake to welcome us. Attention to detail was spot on and Geoff was on hand to welcome us to the house and the surroundings. Needless to say the twins were extremely excited to see the animals and Geoff invited us to feed the pigs, sheep, ducks and geese which we did every morning. We all loved seeing Amelia and her 11 piglets and delighted to see Betty's newly born 6 piglets. We were all able to relax in the spacious rooms in the farmhouse, a great square table in the dining room to enjoy family time which was the whole purpose of the visit. Outside, the gardens are spacious and a perfect place for al fresco dining which we were able to do a number of times. We were very familiar with the area and so spent time on Dartmoor which is on the doorstep as well spending time at the seaside. If you're after some family time in a superb situation, still have all the mod cons (wifi was great) and not have family quarrels about waiting for the bathroom, this is the place for you. We have made some very happy memories from this holiday and our thanks go to Geoff and his wife for making it so memorable.

Dunley Farmhouse is situated on a sustainable, eco-friendly working smallholding. There are also often lambs, piglets, ducklings and other baby animals from early spring through to the autumn.
